Wildlife monitoring, connecting people to nature.

What we do

Conservation that can be measured and shared.

Good habitat work starts with understanding the site. We assess the location, identify suitable species and opportunities, then either install new boxes & equipment or retrofit existing boxes before monitoring how wildlife uses the site over time.

The result is a practical way to bring people closer to wildlife while keeping disturbance to a minimum.

Survey & design

We assess the habitat, species activity and practical constraints before recommending the right setup.

Installation

Nest boxes and monitoring equipment are positioned for animal welfare and easy maintenance.

Monitor & learn

Remote footage reveals occupancy, breeding behaviour and outcomes while keeping disturbance low.

Three barn owl owlets during ringing at Lopemede Farm
2026 field note
Three barn owl owlets ringed at Lopemede Farm.

The BORG ringing team carried out the ringing, with L&L assisting. All three owlets were raised in an L&L nest box, making it a great result for Lopemede Farm and a strong sign that the site provides suitable habitat for breeding barn owls.
